Simple pleasure by Reiko Kaneko

This month sees the launch of some new products by ceramicist Reiko Kaneko. Rather than role out another new collection, Kaneko has returned to some of her most successful collections and produced new additional pieces for them.

New to the Artic Collection is the Artic Jug, which joins and compliments the existing Artic Tumbler and Artic Tall Tumbler. The Artic collection is sedate and fine in style and with this in mind the jug design has been kept simple: no handle and a simple spout that resembles an origami fold.

Another popular collection benefiting from a new addition is the Petal Collection. Following the success of the Small Petal Plates, a Large Petal Plate has been added to the range along with a Petal Bowl. These new additions see the range becoming more versatile. The Petal Collection vessels can be used on their own or displayed as multiples in various configurations to great effect.

The third and final collection to be revisited and expanded upon is the Iceberg Artic Collection.

This tilted bowl not only displays food beautifully, but this well considered design takes into account its view from behind as the diner on the opposite side of the table would see it.

All fine bone china, dishwasher and microwave safe.  Hand made in Staffordshire, England.
