Home tour – apartment in Manhattan

Home tour | I really like the accessible furnishings in this stylish apartment in Manhattan. Especially how old and new are mixed in a completely fresh and modern way. Lauren Moffatt’s casual approach to organizing her living space with found objects rather than buying lots of expensive furniture and décor works perfectly. Every of these photos has  something totally unexpected that caught my eye, yet the whole space feels totally cohesive.

Muuto added two more items to their collection; Airy side table designed by Cecilie Manz has the well-known pared down designs and inherent gentleness which is typical for her designs. The Fiber chair designed by Iskos-Berlin, takes the familiar archetype of the tub chair and reduces it to its simplest form and offers lots of versatility.

The Twin tables and the Kubus Collection in copper

The Twin tables and the Kubus Collection in copper from Danish brand by Lassen. I am a huge fan of by Lassen’s design because and I have always loved the square shape of the iconic and most famous item from the brand; the Kubus candlestick. The fab new collections are available from early April 2014.

Twin table – the perfect side table. Mogens Lassen’s preferred form was the square and stringent shape of the cube, and it is the source of the small table Twin. The tabletop is placed on a cube-shaped frame made of 6 mm thin steel profiles, which lend the table a very light and stringent appearance. Read More
